ANNE METTE KELTER

Fotograf og billedkunstner Anne-Mette Kelter (DK) bor og arbeider i Ougtherard, Irland. Der omgir hun seg med frodig natur og rolige landskap, og Kelters verk er gjennomgående påvirket av dette og hennes kjærlighet til naturen.

I consider myself a storyteller through my polaroids. I love the dramatic and abandoned landscapes of Connemara, where I live. And I am thankful that I live right in the middle of my “canvas” so to speak, having moved from Copenhagen to Western Ireland in the beginning of 2022 to pursue my overall passion for landscape-polaroid photography.

Exactly my passion for storytelling through photography was an match made in heaven when “Sound in Picture” contacted me in late 2022 and asked if I wanted to be part of a project where I should find inspiration in four not previously released music tracks from Scottish musician Khromi and put my inspiration into polaroids.

Sound in Picture brings musicians and photographers together in a unique collaboration. The concept is a blend between a visual arts magazine and music label. Each one of their installments consists of an unreleased track, illustrated in a series of conceptual photos the way the photographers sees it. So the viewer gets to listen to a piece of music/ the track, while looking at the photos, getting the whole storytelling experience out of it.
